Blessing our Community
Christ the King Church Newton exists first and foremost to worship God. Our desire is to see more of our friends and neighbors in Newton, Wellesley, and beyond join us in this highest of callings. We believe that seeking the blessing of our communities flows from robust worship. In this way, we pray for and work toward our own transformation, and the transformation of our neighborhoods.
We hope to bless our communities through various service opportunities, spearheaded by members and attenders of Christ the King Church Newton. Our goal is to identify areas where congregants are already serving and open those ministry opportunities up to the entire church. We also pray for and seek ways that we as a church can lead in serving, locally as well as globally. We are committed to supporting ministries, through prayer, financial support, and volunteering, to the end that the good news of Jesus Christ is proclaimed through words as well as actions.
