Dan Allred, Ruling Elder

Dan and Stephanie moved to the Boston area from Durham, NC in 2007. They bought a house in Wellesley and quickly settled into the community of Christ the King-Cambridge. At the same time, Dan & Stephanie were falling in love with Wellesley and the people who live there, and they began praying for a church plant in the Newton-Wellesley area. In October 2009, Dan was elected as a ruling elder at CTK, having previously been ordained to that office at Church of the Good Shepherd in Durham. Dan and Stephanie, along with their daughters Maree and Lucy, have become deeply embedded in Wellesley and the life of that community.

Rev. Bradley Barnes, Lead Pastor

Bradley and Meda met the fall semester of their freshman year at Wake Forest University in North Carolina. They were married in Dec. of 1994, and have three children: Ben, Mac and Louisa. Bradley attended Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, received an MDIV, and was ordained as a minister in 2004. From '04-'09, Bradley and Meda served with Reformed University Fellowship at Harvard University. Through that experience their love for the Church and for New England blossomed. They began working on the launch of CTK-Newton in 2009, moved to Newton in the Fall of 2010, and celebrated the first public worship of CTK-Newton on Sep. 12th, 2010 - truly a dream and prayer come true.
