CTK exists that Newtonians and surrounding communities might have the chance to worship God, experience his blessing, and have our neighborhoods transformed by his grace. Our Missions Committee leads the way in helping CTK care for our city, both through church-led initiatives and support for local organizations. A few of interest are listed below. 

The Second Step

The Second Step (TSS) is a Newton-based nonprofit which serves adult and child survivors of domestic violence by creating supportive community and pathways to healing, housing, and financial security. CTK members volunteer time, lend professional expertise, and financial support. 

Waypoint Adventure

Waypoint Adventure is Newton-based nonprofit helping youth and adults with disabilities discover their purpose, talents and strengths through the transforming power of adventure. CTK members support this organization at many levels including leadership, volunteering time, and giving finances. 


One Night Out

In partnership with Senior High students from Newton North High School and the Boston Ability Center, CTK's youth volunteer once a month to give parents of special-needs children a date night free of charge. Contact Jackson Wade or Robbie Mills for more info.
