Newton Community FREEDGE

The Newton community freedge is open all day, every day at 420 Watertown Street. The freedge is a refrigerator and pantry that provides free food and personal care products to anyone who needs them. We volunteer every other Friday to stock the fridge with donations. However, anyone is welcome to drop off items anytime. Learn more or contact Meda Barnes to get involved.

The Second Step

The Second Step

The Second Step is a Newton-based nonprofit which serves adult and child survivors of domestic violence by creating supportive community and pathways to healing, housing, and financial security. Christ the King Church Newton members volunteer time, lend professional expertise, and financial support.

Waypoint Adventure

Waypoint Adventure

Waypoint Adventure is a Newton-based nonprofit helping youth and adults with disabilities discover their purpose, talents and strengths through the transforming power of adventure. CTK members support this organization at many levels including leadership, volunteering time, and giving finances.

One Night Out

One Night Out

In partnership with Senior High students from Newton North High School and the Boston Ability Center, Christ the King Church Newton's youth volunteer once a month to give parents of special-needs children a date night free of charge.
